Diplomacy is a bluffing and negotiations game that takes place in the years leading up to WWI.  Players represent one of the seven nations (Great Britain, France, Austria-Hungary, Germany, Italy, Russia or Turkey) and will make two moves per in-game year using their military units.  Players instruct each of their units by writing a set of "orders" and chosing from a set list of options.  The outcome of each turn is determined by the rules of the game. There are no dice rolls or other elements of chance; it has an incredibly simplistic movement mechanics fused with a significant negotiation element.
